What is the government doing or what has it done in order to fix the obesity problem in America?
Has the government made any policies or set any international standards in order to stop the obesity problem in america. I am writing a paper on obesity in America.

That’s not really the government’s job, even though they have incorporated a completely new food “pyramid.” It’s not a pyramid anymore really, it’s just a triangle. And there is a program called Healthy People 2010 to help encourage people to stay healthy and fit.

I’m doing a speech on obesity in america. I would like feedback on what policies do you think America should put in place in order to lessen obesity in America. We all know excercise and better eating habits but everyone doesn’t follow the advice so what policy should be put into place by the government to stop obesity?

We can stop genetically modifying our produce and pumping our livestock with hormones and steroids. I travel the world and we really don’t eat more than our foreign counterparts; we do however fill ourselves with these hormones and steroids when we eat our domestic food supply. Come on…. 80% of our countries population is obese! If anyone is trying to convince you that 80% of us are overeating pigs, then think again….
Oh, and by the way, whenever I travel abroad, I lose weight.

I did talk and I enforced the policy of very little junk food and my offspring are very healthy slender adults who spend quite a bit of time in the health food store. Everytime I go to the grocery store I see kids piling junk food in the basket and the parent just can not say NO. I see people buying all kind of junk food with food stamps. When I was in school, except for college, we did not have vending machines for soft drinks, in fact we had no vending machines. Society as a whole, is the problem. My kids drank milk, water, and Gatorade/Powerade.

Help me make a Newborn Baseball Jersey?
We are a baseball family and for my baby’s first picture in the hospital, I want her wearing a newborn baseball jersey. Its going to say, Rookie, 07 and our team name will be our Last name…but I cant find anywhere that sells blank baseball jerseys. I can have it personalized anywhere…but finding the shirt is impossible…any ideas?

Need Help On Finding A New era 59/50 baseball cap?
Its from a specific team im looking for that plays in the puerto rico winter baseball league.. there called the los indios de mayaguez. Help pricing a Willie Mays Baseball Card?
Ok so i won this baseball card a long time ago and its a genuine autographed willie mays card.
it says in the top left corner “team topps legends” and in the top right corner it says “certified autograph issue”
the back has a holographic sticker that says authentic. the card was printed in 2001 and is signed by willie mays himself

I am looking for a picture of the scotland football team from 1990 advertising ariel soap powder?
Proctor and Gamble used the scottish football team to adertise arial soap powder (i think in 1990 Italia 90′). In partiular Colin Hendry or any team players at that time. I have a friend who was one of the child “actors” used in the advertisements, and I want to surprise with a picture, but cant find them anywhere. Any ideas?

What is fun to do is find a famous scene from a movie or something, and take a picture of your team doing a reenactment. On one photo/video hunt, we had to find a boat and reenact the scene from the Titanic and scream, “I’m King of the World.”
Find a sandbox and take a picture of your team member crawling across the desert searching for water.
Try taking a picture of your whole team upside down.
Just a few ideas…

Daily workout to get a flat stomach?
My whole stomach is just fat… Jiggly fat. How lovely. And I have that pooch thing right in the front… and whenever I put on tight jeans the fat actually bubbles over the jeans… and especially the pooch.
What is a daily workout I can do that will make all the extra fat and the pooch go away? Something that doesn’t require equipment. And something that REALLY works!!! Please help.
I am not overweight at all. My legs are ALL muscle. I just have tons of fat surronding my stomach.

Jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
An excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
